Chapter 11: “It wasn’t that bad, really”, said Katana Eyes after the credits started rolling on the silver screens. It was just another typical after work Wednesday where some of Clan Black Harrier would chill at the mall right next to HQ for some drinks or to catch the latest film advertised on the billboards – but other members of Clan Black Harrier would rather kill their precious time by lazing around on the couch at home whilst betting on the next contestants to be kicked off from American Idol.
“I knew he was blind all the while though I was not certain – my intuition tells me so!” explained Katana Eyes proudly as if defending a convict from Dick Wolf’s American police procedural and legal drama television series, Law & Order.
Well, The Book of Eli wasn’t really that bad as how some criticized it, though it wouldn’t be much of a brainer-movie either. Regardless, I have to admit that the cinematography wasn’t bad at all, not to say great either when juxtaposed with Wong Kar Wai’s My Blueberry Nights.
“Yes, yes you’re right. But how can he dodge every bullet shot by the bad guys? It just doesn’t make any sense at all…! This isn’t The Matrix…Moreover Lila Kunis managed to get out from the barricaded door which is clearly a ‘Dues Ex Machina’..”
“Well, I guess they missed him – and I have no idea how Lila managed to get out..”, answered Katana Eyes halfheartedly just to evade the necessity on rationalizing some of the unexplainable scenes. My heart was still insistent on getting the questions answered but my mind was exhausted to role play as Socrates.
That was just the same incident when the credits started rolling for Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (- which I’m pretty much obsessed with Logan Lerman’s lovely hairdo that got me into a fixated position of wanting to become Percy himself) – but I guess in this case, I wasn’t keen on being an Eli.
“Wasn’t that bad… oh, for all the costumes worn in the set; the best dressed had to be Lila Kunis as if she just got off from Rue Cambon despite the post apocalyptic fashion trends of the future...now that’s totally strange..”
“- And that, I couldn’t agree with you more….”, said Katana Eyes.

Yup, Percy's perfect hair. Don't see that reflected in Poseidon's genes. Must come from the mother's side. :P
